Although it might be under their noses, some people are not aware that they have bad breath or halitosis breath. Bad is an unpleasant condition that often is cause for shame.
Causes
Bad breath can be caused by certain foods, alcohol and snuff the inclusive. Garlic and onion help with this condition because they contain compounds that cause odor. when these compounds enter the bloodstream and are transferred to the lungs where it is exhaled. Dry mouth is a disease that can cause bad breath. Under normal conditions, saliva removes many particles that cause bad breath. Dry mouth occurs when the flow of saliva decreases. Some medications, salivary gland problems or constant mouth breathing can also contribute to bad breath. Other causes include certain prescription or nonprescription drugs. Prevention
